St Catherine’s Church Brynamman are hosting an event bringing the talent of the Welsh opera and classical tenor singer Rhys Meirion to Brynamman Public Hall.
Rhys has enjoyed international success in opera and recording and national success in broadcasting.
He has an extensive catalogue of recording work, including a duet album with Bryn Terfel which was nominated for a Classical Brit Award and the beautiful song Anfonaf Angel, to name but a few.
During the evening there will be performances from Lauren Elizabeth Williams a 20 year old soprano from Glynneath, who is currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Lauren is a member of LARS.

She has also performed for St Catherine's Brynamman before along side Peter Karrie.
Brynamman School Choir will perform during the evening as well as members of St Catherine’s Sunday School.
Garry Owen, BBC Wales broadcaster will be the compère for the evening.
It promises to be a night to remember, bringing the community together after a tough few years.
Any funds raised from the evening will go to St Catherine's Church Brynamman.
